We decided to visit the very known tourist and local place since we only have 7 hrs. At first we got troubled in our MRT ride as we did not understand that we need to go out the train to transfer to reach our destined station. Its a busy day because a lot of commuters during that day. I forgot to mentioned that its also freaking cold. ^^

We really had fun exploring it. A lot of locals as well. We also saw a lot of elders doing Tai chi. ^^ I posted a raw video that I took hahaha.
After roaming around the area, of course we got tired and hungry!!! There are a lot of food stalls within the vicinity. Since its crowded, we had a tough time in deciding where to eat so we bought a few souvenirs first. They are a lot of local food delicacies which are good.
Variety of local food delicacies in a very colorful package. |
So the interesting part is actually trying out their local food. We are curious to try the big steamed bun with soup inside. They called it baozi or xiaolongbao. All the food we tried and taste are very satisfying. Chinese cuisines are very tasty and delicious. No wonder all people we saw in the area are all going gagas ^^ very nice :)

Beauty : April Skin and Labiotte
April Skin : Fixing Foundation (#21) and Fixing Tint ( Bloody Mary ) |
Labiotte : Wine Lip Tint ( PRO1) and April SKin : Fixing Tint ( Peach Crush ) |
Korean Cosmetics are super hype as their Kdramas and Kmovies ever. As I watched Korean dramas and movies, they always shown what the cosmetics their actors use which is very impressive because it proves that they always proud of their own products made, even the hand phones and cars they used are all Korean brands.
Anyhow, because most of them have a fair skin and good complexion (no pores!) I got curious and buy their well known brands. Way back during my college days in Philippines, I used Face Shop and Etude House brands especially when they launched BB/CC creams. Moving on, I tried Laneige brand when my former housemate went to Seoul and asked her to buy me that specific brand which is also very good.
2014 as I remember when cc cushion was introduced in the market but then I am not a fan during those times. Only this year when I visited South Korea during winter season made me realize I want to upgrade my cosmetics regime and switched to cc cushion and forget about foundation ^^ It also help me convince myself to switch because one of my favourite brand now became viral on my FaceBook feeds and I told myself that I gonna find that brand when I touchdown Seoul which truly happened and joyous haha.
Actually the photos inserted above just launched this mid year and bought it through a grey market in Singapore. Because of the very girlish packing which is in matte rose gold I decided to try and I am impressed because the quality made even more better. I used the Magic Snow Cushion black before and now I am using the fixing foundation. The difference is the latter is matte and it stays longer than the black version but the SPF is not more coverage as only SPF 30 and the Magic Snow Cushion black is SPF 50.
Moreover, since I am freak when it comes to lippies, I tried the April Skin Fixing tint in two shades. Its a very vibrant colour. A bit sticky when first applied but it is true, it stays longer and had a matte finished that will make your lips a bit dry so its better to apply a balm or gloss before putting the tint on your lips.
Newest on my make up family is the Labiotte Lip Wine Tint, its very nice on lips and can stay a bit longer but its not highly pigmented so you need to re-apply often. The good thing about it is it will not make your lips dry. And the smells really wins my attention and a bit of addiction because I love drinking wines putting a tint on your lips that smells wine is glorifying . ^^

Because I can't stop watching kdrama these days, I am posting few of the kdramas I had seen up to this date. It all started with the Descendants of the Sun (1st kdrama I'd seen this year 2016), I became addicted in watching more. Even though it needs a lot of reading the subtitles (the hell I care) is okay.
This kdrama is a tearjerker.
I cried a LOT but I also laughed hard ^^
The chemistry of Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy is very natural though I knew that they both in a relationship in real life they still managed to make it more appealing and convincing in portraying their characters.
^^

Its been a super late post/ shout out for this super well-known Kdrama.
I watched this drama last July 2016 and finished it for 5 days because of the hype all over the world (TRULY!!!). Its all over the feeds in my FaceBook, Twitter and also in Instagram. Over curiosity, I watched it patiently due to the fact that its in their native language and I will be reading the subtitles. Since everybody can search the synopsis of this kdrama so i wont anymore write the storyline haha. Its a very nice storytelling. I like how Kdrama do and write their drama or movies stories its always have a unique way in ending the story. Looking forward for the sequel of this story. ^^ |
